State Sen. Brad Lager (R-Savannah), whose district currently represents Livingston County, filed for lieutenant governor. He is among four Republicans (Charles W. Kullmann, of St. Louis, Peter Kinder, of Jefferson City, and Mike Carter, of St. Charles) seeking the office. There are also six Democrats (Susan Montee, of Jefferson City, Dennis Weisenburger, of St. Joseph, Fred Kratky, of St. Louis, Becky Lee Plattner, of Grand Pass, Judy Baker, of Columbia, and Sara Lampe, of St. Louis) seeking the office, as well as one Constitution Party candidate, Cynthia L. Davis, of O’Fallon.
